So many things begin and end and end and begin in one day.
You can finish a good book and ugly cry.
You can watch beautiful flowers bloom and sometimes even shrivel up in the same day.
You can make a new friend.
You can leave a job that's weighing you down and start a new one.
You can hike to the top of a mountain during a time of transition, take in the scenery, zoom out in your life, and just acknowledge all the things you're carrying while also letting some of them go.
Beginnings and endings and endings and beginnings are beautiful, sad, relieving, bittersweet, and so many other things. But somehow, gratitude always seems to creep in. :)
This collection was nice because it challenged me with both the utilization of texture and color theory. I'm so glad I pushed myself beyond what I thought I was capable of, because I learned so much from these six paintings. Check out the other paintings here.
