Have you ever sought out a place to experience the culture and beauty while fulfilling some element of curiosity within... only to be met with more surprise than you could've imagined? Have you ever experienced those moments of awe and wanted to remember that little fragment of time forever? Chasing Wonder is a collection composed of precious slivers of time when feelings of ambition ran high, but reality had a way of catching me by surprise in the most endearing ways. Even freezing atop mountains in the pouring rain, there is something to be appreciated about this lovely world. As an artist, I want to capture those beautiful places and share them with you.

Here is the main painting of Chasing Wonder: Part 1. This picture was taken when I flew from Denmark to Norway, about to embark on adventures that quite honestly made me nervous. I would be pushing myself after having just recovered from a leg injury. My mind was filled with doubt. I wasn't sure if I could hike like I used to, appreciate nature like I used to, etc... but it was just what I needed to assure myself that I still had a sense of adventure within. It was a healing journey.

This collection is for the wanderers at heart. This collection is for the people who have mobility issues that hold them back from long hikes and mountain climbs - I'm bringing it to you because you deserve to come. This collection is for the people who want to go somewhere, but they're too scared. For the people who cannot travel, for whatever obstacle stands in the way... you're invited to enjoy these paintings and experience the beauty of our planet anyway. Chase Wonder with me. :)
