This was from a chilly day at Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs. While the red rock formations here are beautiful, I found the scraggly vegetation to be just as endearing. It's different from Ohio. I love Colorado landscapes because they can sometimes appear vividly, or sometimes take on these muted hues... but no matter what, I feel like I can always spot a little bit of purple! It's so fun!
Have you ever sought out a place to experience the culture and beauty while fulfilling some element of curiosity within... only to be met with more surprise than you could've imagined? Have you ever experienced those moments of awe and wanted to remember that little fragment of time forever? Chasing Wonder is a collection composed of precious slivers of time when feelings of ambition ran high, but reality had a way of catching me by surprise in the most endearing ways. Even freezing atop mountains in the pouring rain, there is something to be appreciated about this lovely world. As an artist, I want to capture those beautiful places and share them with you.
