This painting came about when I decided to tackle something that scared me, but I've always wanted to do: paint fish. Not only that, but I wanted to paint with both bold colors and brush strokes! This painting pushed me to think more about how my body moves while interacting with my artwork. It also helped me gain confidence while trying something new.
Size: 5”x7” on a 0.75” deep cradled canvas. Sides of the canvas are painted a solid color to match the painting (red).
Materials: Oil on canvas.
