Coastal Rest - Original Acrylic Painting
The air is cool. Waves are splashing in the distance. Cliffs boldly stand upon the shores, commanding both tourists and locals to admire their angular beauty. Wildflowers dance to nature's rhythm as the breeze peacefully encompasses everything in its path. This is coastal rest.
This painting is yet another piece where I've "traveled" through my art. The real story behind it - I actually stood on this shore 2 years ago and snapped this photo. It was a cold California day, and my husband and I took Route 1 from Arcata to San Francisco. The scenery was so beautiful that we often stopped to explore the beaches and stand on the cliffs!
Materials: Ampersand Gessobord 1/4" thick wooden panel, Golden Heavy Body Acrylic Paint.
